Inside the factory

How your garments are made

Ten production stages between your tech pack and your warehouse, each with a quality checkpoint. This is what happens on the floor once your sample is approved.

Production flow

10 stages, 10 checkpoints

  1. Fabric being cut with scissors during pattern making01

    Tech pack & pattern

We read your tech pack or reference garment, grade the pattern across your size range and mark every measurement point.

Measurement chart signed off with you

  2. Garments laid out for inspection on a production floor02

    Fabric sourcing & inspection

Fabric is booked to the agreed composition and GSM. Rolls are checked for weight, shade and visible faults before anything is cut.

GSM, shade and fault check per lot

  3. Fabric being cut to pattern on the cutting table03

    Cutting

Fabric is spread, rested and cut to the graded pattern. Panels are bundled and numbered by size and shade so every garment matches.

Panel size check against the pattern

  4. Printing equipment applying a printed design04

    Printing

Screen print, puff print or DTF is applied to cut panels, so artwork sits exactly where your spec says. Colours are matched to your approved strike-off.

Placement, colour and wash test on first pieces

  5. Embroidery machine stitching a logo onto a garment05

    Embroidery & patches

Flat, 3D puff and chenille embroidery, woven or felt patches. Your logo is digitised once and approved on the sample before bulk runs.

Thread colour and stitch density check

  6. Sewing machine stitching a garment panel06

    Stitching

Garments are assembled on the line with overlock, flatlock and coverstitch machines, ribs and trims attached in sequence.

In-line inspection during sewing, not only at the end

  7. Workers sewing garments on a production line07

    Washing & finishing

Garment dye, enzyme or stone wash where specified, then thread trimming, pressing and a final shape check.

Shrinkage and hand-feel checked against the sample

  8. Close-up of a woven clothing label on dark fabric08

    Labels & trims

Woven neck labels, care labels, size labels, branded zip pullers and drawcords are fitted, all made to your artwork.

Label position and care content check

  9. Blank hang tag on a red garment09

    Final quality control

Final inspection against the AQL level we agree with you, measurement checks per size and photos or video for your approval. Third-party inspection is welcome.

    Inspection report before balance payment

  10. Folded garments packed in a cardboard box10

    Packing & export

Folded, tagged and bagged as you specify, packed in export cartons with your carton marks, then shipped by express, air or sea with full export documents.

Carton count and packing list check
